India’s rigid plastic packaging maker Mold-Tek Packaging Limited reported Q1 FY2025 net profit of Rs. 25.57 crore, up 14.17% year on year, while revenue rose 24.90% to Rs. 300.45 crore. EBITDA per kg hit a record Rs. 46.68. The company attributed the gains to better capacity utilisation, consolidation of its Hyderabad units, and a higher contribution from its higher-margin pharma packaging business. Global refined copper supply could face a 25% structural deficit by 2035 under current policy settings, the International Energy Agency said in a report. The shortfall is tied to delays in developing new mining projects.
