YZi Labs, the investment firm associated with Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao, has filed a consent statement with the SEC seeking to reshape the board of CEA Industries (BNC), a publicly-traded company managing a substantial BNB treasury. The firm is requesting shareholder support to expand the board, install its own nominees, and reverse recent bylaw changes. BNC's treasury holds between 480,000 and 515,000 BNB tokens valued at approximately $412 million.

YZi Labs, backed by Changpeng Zhao, filed a consent solicitation with the SEC to restructure the board of CEA Industries Inc. (NASDAQ: BNC). The firm holds approximately 5% of BNC shares and cited governance failures, disclosure delays, and a share price decline exceeding 92% since July. BNC holds one of the largest institutional BNB positions globally.

YZiLabs, backed by Changpeng Zhao, filed a preliminary Schedule 14A on Monday seeking to overhaul the board of BNB Network (BNC), formerly CEA Industries. The activist push targets the company's governance and execution following a $500 million private placement earlier in 2024. YZiLabs alleges management failures including delayed filings and inadequate investor communication.

GANA Payment, a BNB Smart Chain project, lost $3.1 million after attackers gained unauthorized contract control and manipulated staking rewards. The attacker laundered 1,140 BNB ($1.04 million) and 346.8 ETH ($1.05 million) through Tornado Cash, with approximately $1 million remaining on Ethereum. Blockchain security firm HashDit identified the vulnerability as malicious transfer of contract ownership, enabling extraction of excess GANA tokens.

GANA Payment suffered a security exploit on BNB Smart Chain resulting in losses exceeding $3.1 million. The attacker moved stolen funds through Tornado Cash on both BSC and Ethereum networks. The GANA token price dropped more than 90% following the incident.

BlackRock has expanded its USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) to BNB Chain, bringing over $2.5 billion in tokenized U.S. Treasuries to the network through a new share class for qualified investors. Binance now accepts BUIDL as collateral, allowing institutions to post tokenized Treasury positions while maintaining trading strategies. Year-to-date performance data show BNB holding the strongest position among major digital assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP.

BlackRock's tokenized U.S. Treasury fund BUIDL will be accepted as institutional collateral on Binance and expanded to BNB Chain. The fund has accumulated $2.5 billion in assets since its March 2024 launch. Data show BUIDL is the largest tokenized money market fund on public blockchains.

Kyrgyzstan launched KGST, a stablecoin pegged 1:1 to the som, operating on BNB Chain. Former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao attended the October 24, 2025 launch with President Sadyr Japarov. The National Bank will pilot a central bank digital currency in three phases, with a deployment decision expected by 2026.

Kyrgyzstan has confirmed the launch of a national stablecoin on BNB Chain and outlined plans for a central bank digital currency supported by a crypto reserve that may include BNB. The KGST stablecoin, pegged to the Kyrgyzstani som, will operate on BNB Chain infrastructure, with former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao serving as a financial adviser to the government. BNB is currently trading around $1,119, consolidating above the 20-day moving average.

Kyrgyzstan has formally added Binance Coin to its national cryptocurrency reserve and deployed two blockchain-based payment systems on BNB Chain: a stablecoin for commercial use and a central bank digital currency for government transactions. The initiative, disclosed by Binance founder Changpeng Zhao on October 25, 2025, includes educational partnerships with ten local universities and collaborations with Web3 firms to integrate identity verification into public administration. BNB traded around $1,113 following the announcement.
