KFC to end 40-year Pepsi deal with Coca-Cola switch at 3,700 US restaurants in January 2027
KFC will end its nearly 40-year exclusive U.S. beverage partnership with Pepsi, the chain said. It will move to Coca-Cola products across about 3,700 U.S. restaurants starting January 2027, with the rollout expected to be finished by spring 2027. Pepsi had supplied KFC's drinks since 1986, when PepsiCo bought the chain, and kept the arrangement through parent company Yum! Brands after the 1997 spinoff. Vance says Trump administration suspends Microsoft and Adobe from PERM green card program
U.S. Vice President JD Vance said the Trump administration is suspending Microsoft, Adobe and other firms from the Permanent Labor Certification (PERM) program, accusing them of abusing the visa system. Vance said Microsoft laid off 6,000 American workers last year while receiving 6,300 H1B visas and nearly 3,000 green cards. He claimed the company replaced each laid-off U.S. worker with 11⁄2 foreign workers and called the arrangement “scandalous.”

Conagra ends Celeste frozen pizza production as it trims low-profit brands
Conagra said it has stopped producing Celeste frozen pizzas as part of a strategy to simplify its portfolio. The company said the exit reduced fiscal first-quarter 2027 net sales by about 15 basis points, but it expects the move to lift margins over time. Management said it currently has more than 400 single-serve meal SKUs and sees an opportunity to streamline to a simpler, more productive lineup. The company characterized Celeste as part of its effort to exit brands with unprofitable or low-profit growth.
