What Is KGeN (KGEN) and How Does It Work?
KGeN (Kratos Gamer Network) is a Web3 platform built around a gamer reputation and distribution engine, often referred to as the “Proof of Gamer / POGE” engine. It aims to help gaming, AI, DeFi, and consumer apps connect with real users, while giving gamers control over their data, identity, and rewards.
KGeN uses a dual-token reward model. Users first earn K-Points by participating in quests, campaigns, or tasks (K-Quests, K-Drops) within the ecosystem. These points convert into rKGEN, a non-transferrable reward token. After the Token Generation Event (TGE), rKGEN can be redeemed 1:1 for the transferable KGEN token.
To encourage long-term engagement and fairness, KGeN lets users stake rKGEN to boost rewards or future allocations, and phases its distribution, e.g. “OG Tribe” vs “New Tribe” to reward consistent contributors while still leaving room for newcomers.
What Is KGeN's Proof of Gamer Engine?
KGeN’s Proof of Gamer (PoG) engine is a reputation and identity system built for gamers, directly on-chain. It tracks and verifies a gamer’s activity, such as their gameplay history, achievements, interaction across multiple games and chains, contributions to communities, and engagement, to create a persistent “gamer identity” or reputation score. With this, it becomes possible to prove that users are real and active gamers, which helps developers and platforms reliably distribute rewards, incentives, and offers to genuine users rather than bots or inactive accounts.
By combining this verified reputation layer with the KGeN token model, the PoG engine strengthens alignment between users and the ecosystem. Users can “mint” their PoG, see their PoG dashboard, and grow their reputation to unlock higher rewards or eligibility in campaigns. Because PoG is cross-chain and built into KGeN’s architecture, it enables broader interoperability: reputation is portable, can be referenced by games and apps across different blockchains, and serves as a signal of trust in distributing KGEN incentives.
When Did KGeN Launch?
KGeN (Kratos Gamer Network) traces its roots to late 2023, when the project was officially founded by Manish Agarwal (former CEO of Nazara Technologies) under the Kratos Studios umbrella. While the public token (KGEN) is still in pre-TGE / distribution phase, the project has rolled out major infrastructure like rKGEN claims, Proof of Gamer engine, and partner integrations.

What Is the KGEN Token Utility?
KGEN serves as the governance and reward token within the KGeN ecosystem; it allows holders to vote on protocol decisions, participate in governance proposals, and benefit from network growth incentives. According to the official tokenomics documentation, platform transactions utilize both KCash and KGen, and KCash ↔ KGen conversion is dynamically adjusted based on market pricing to help balance utility demand.
Additionally, KGeN’s design uses rKGEN (a nontransferrable rewards token) as a fairdrop mechanism; after the TGE, rKGEN converts 1:1 into KGEN, enabling early contributors to monetize their participation.

What Is KGeN Tokenomics?
KGeN is built around a dual-asset economy comprising KGEN, the governance or reward token, and KCash, the platform / in-game utility token.
- KCash is used for internal ecosystem operations (in-game transactions, rewards, utility flows). The conversion from KCash → KGEN is dynamically adjusted according to market price to help balance demand and supply.
- KGEN is the main incentive / reward / governance token that rKGEN (the pre-TGE rewards token) will convert into 1:1 after the TGE.
KGEN Token Allocation
Community / Ecosystem Allocation: 40 % of the total KGEN supply is reserved for community / ecosystem activities, with 8 % of that unlocked at TGE.
Initial Unlocks / Circulating Supply: About 12.6 % of total token supply is slated to be unlocked at TGE (not accounting for tokens locked in market makers or exchange operations).
Phase-based rKGEN / Airdrop Distribution: Before TGE, KGeN distributes rKGEN (non-transferable rewards token) across multiple phases.
- Phase 0 (“OG Tribe”) has been allocated ~2.5 % of the supply.
- Phase 1 (“New Tribe”) and future phases will take more of the remaining allocation; unclaimed tokens from earlier phases may roll into subsequent ones.
Vesting / Lock-ups: Team and investor allocations are subject to multi-year lockups and vesting schedules to limit immediate sell pressure.
How to Claim KGeN Airdrop
The KGeN airdrop is a rewards distribution event in which participants who actively engage with the KGeN ecosystem ahead of the TGE can claim rKGEN, a non-transferrable reward token that will later convert 1:1 into KGEN. Eligible users are those who participated in K-Drop and K-Quest campaigns in the defined “Phase 0 / OG Tribe” period, i.e. before December 31, 2024. The rKGEN claim & stake mechanism was launched on April 20, 2025 for Phase 0 participants.
How to Claim KGEN Tokens After the Airdrop
- Connect your wallet to rewards.kgen.io and log in (desktop recommended).
- Check your eligibility / allocation for rKGEN.
- If eligible, click “Claim” to receive your rKGEN.
- Optionally, stake your claimed rKGEN (for extra yield or boost, depending on rules) before the deadline.
- After the TGE, rKGEN can convert 1:1 into KGEN.
