Prysm Ethereum Client Releases Temporary Fix for December 4 System Issue

Ethereum client Prysm released a temporary workaround on December 4 after identifying the root cause of a system issue, the team said. The fix disables unnecessary generation of outdated states for expired attestations by adding the flag "--disable-last-epoch-targets" to beacon nodes. The parameter works with version v7.0.0 and requires no beacon node upgrades or validator client modifications.
