Poland's Sejm Approves Revised Crypto Bill to Bring Market in Line with MiCA
Odaily Planet Daily reported that Polish lawmakers on Friday passed a government-backed bill to place the country's cryptocurrency market under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), after President Karol Nawrocki twice vetoed earlier versions. Official parliamentary records show the vote took place at the Sejm's 57th session in Warsaw, with the bill approved 241–200. The adopted Bill No. 2529, backed by the Ministry of Finance, empowers the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) to supervise market participants, issue administrative penalties, and temporarily freeze accounts and transactions.
