Bitcoin slides nearly 2% to $66,272 as oil jumps over 20% on supply risk concerns
Bitcoin fell close to 2% in about 15 minutes on Sunday, slipping to around $66,272 after earlier strength during the recent US-Israel strikes on Iran. Over the same period, oil prices surged from $95 to $113.7 per barrel before easing to $105, amid warnings that roughly 3 million barrels per day could be disrupted in the Strait of Hormuz. Crude is now trading at its highest level since April 2022, while Bitcoin has logged four consecutive days of decline after reaching $73,770 last Wednesday.

Solv Protocol hit by $2.7M vault exploit, offers hacker 10% bounty to recover funds

PsiQuantum starts building 1 million-qubit facility that could crack Bitcoin cryptography
Quantum firm PsiQuantum has begun constructing a 1 million-qubit facility in Chicago, a scale some scientists say could break Bitcoin's cryptography. Zerohash files application for US national trust bank charter after GENIUS Act wave
Blockchain infrastructure provider Zerohash disclosed on Wednesday that it submitted an application on Feb. 27 for a US national trust bank charter, seeking an OCC-issued license to broaden its stablecoin and custody services for banks, brokerages and fintech clients.
