ZEC Futures Liquidations Reach $55.3M in 24 Hours, Shorts Account for $50M

Zcash (ZEC) futures contracts saw $55.3 million in liquidations over 24 hours, with short positions making up $50 million, Coinglass data show on Nov. 7. Open interest in ZEC futures reached about $1.23 billion, up 40% in the period, while spot volume stood at $1.39 billion and futures volume hit $7.14 billion. Funding rates across major exchanges remained mostly negative, showing short position dominance. ZEC traded at $704, up 37.4% in 24 hours, HTX market data show.
