The cryptocurrency Fear & Greed Index dropped to 23 on Dec. 6 from 28 the previous day, Alternative data show. The index, which ranges from 0 to 100, has entered the "extreme fear" territory. It comprises six weighted factors: volatility (25%), market trading volume (25%), social media activity (15%), market surveys (15%), Bitcoin dominance (10%), and Google search trends (10%).
