ASI Alliance said it has identified a security incident tied to the FET token migration and its cross-chain bridge setup, where vulnerabilities in the underlying infrastructure were exploited. In a post on X on Sept. 20 (UTC+8), the team said it has already taken emergency measures and is working with external security partners. According to the update, an unauthorized actor withdrew about $1.56 million worth of FET from the conversion contract. ASI Alliance said its treasury and exchange wallets were not impacted. It added that users' self-custodied wallets and FET held on centralized exchanges remain unaffected and token holders do not need to take any action.
