Ethena Foundation said it has repurchased locked ETHENA tokens (contract: ethereum:0x57e114b691db790c35207b2e685d4a43181e6061) from certain seed investors who had previously sold their holdings. The foundation also reached an agreement with lead investors to halt future monthly investor token unlocks. Separately, Ethena plans to assign the protocol's IP and related economic value to the foundation and the broader ecosystem. It is also proposing to allocate 95% of net revenue to ENA buybacks once USDe supply hits a specified milestone.
