POSCO International and LG CNS to Pilot Trade Receivables Tokenization on Injective Blockchain

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
POSCO International and LG CNS are piloting tokenized trade receivables on Injective, signaling enterprise adoption of onchain settlement and shared-ledger workflows. Moving compliance and asset data together could compress multi-day reconciliation cycles for buyers, sellers, and banks, supporting real-world asset tokenization credibility. While still a pilot, the involvement of a major South Korean trading firm increases validation and potential transaction activity for the Injective ecosystem.

POSCO International, South Korea’s preeminent trading firm, has partnered with LG CNS, the technology subsidiary of LG Group, to launch a pilot program for tokenizing real-world trade receivables. According to a report by CoinDesk, the initiative will utilize the Injective Layer 1 blockchain to facilitate faster commercial payments across POSCO’s extensive global network. By migrating receivables on-chain, the project establishes a unified ledger accessible to buyers, sellers, and financial institutions. This decentralized approach integrates compliance protocols directly into the digital assets, potentially reducing traditional reconciliation periods from several days to near-instantaneous settlement. POSCO International, which recorded $22.2 billion in revenue last year, aims to leverage this technology to enhance its operations in the steel, energy, and battery materials sectors.
