Securitize Capital, a unit of tokenization firm Securitize, has secured investment adviser registration with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, positioning the company to work more directly with asset managers and institutional investors on tokenized investment strategies.
CEO Carlos Domingo said the registration marks an important milestone in the platform's expansion. Following the approval, Securitize's U.S. platform now combines four regulated capabilities: an SEC-registered investment adviser, an SEC-registered broker-dealer, an SEC-registered transfer agent, and fund administration services.
Securitize went public on July 2 through a SPAC merger.
