Steelco Gujarat reported a sharp turnaround in top-line performance in FY26 as production resumed, with revenue surging more than 13 times year-on-year to ₹585.29 crore. The company's net loss, however, widened to ₹372.72 crore from ₹205.38 crore a year earlier.
Finance costs remained heavy, amounting to about 26% of total revenue, while the debt-to-equity ratio stood at 83.47x. To support working capital needs, the company issued ₹140 crore of secured, privately placed bonds in January 2026. After the close of the fiscal year, it also raised around ₹149 crore through a preferential allotment.
