Bitcoin ETFs Pull In $433M as BTC Climbs Back Above $80,000
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
BTC rebounded above $80k as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a sharp $433m net inflow, led by Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's IBIT, following prior heavy outflows. The swing back to inflows signals renewed institutional demand and can support near-term risk appetite in crypto. However, repeated failures near the $82k–$83k resistance zone keep positioning sensitive to a potential stall.

Bitcoin traded in the low-$81,000s on Sept. 20 after a sharp rebound from last week's dip below $76,000. Attention has shifted to the $82,000–$83,000 band, a zone that has repeatedly stalled rallies and now stands as the next major test.
A key catalyst has re-emerged: U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF demand. Farside Investors' Bitcoin ETF flow tracker shows net inflows of $433 million on Sept. 18. Fidelity's FBTC led with $310.7 million, followed by BlackRock's IBIT at $108.4 million. The surge came after $159.5 million of inflows the prior day, helping offset part of the heavy selling earlier in the week.
BTC has recovered the $80,000 psychological level, but the market's near-term ceiling remains near $83,000. A sustained move above $82,000–$83,000 could set up a run toward $85,000–$86,000, where selling pressure may intensify. Coinpaper recently highlighted Bitcoin's repeated failures to clear $82,000, making the current rally a continuation of that same technical battle.
The bullish argument rests on renewed ETF inflows, price holding above $80,000, and improved short-term momentum. The bearish case is straightforward as well: Bitcoin has been rejected in this area before.
The ETF reversal is notable given the preceding drawdown. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw roughly $450.4 million in net outflows on Sept. 15 and another $295.9 million on Sept. 16, before flipping back to inflows over the next two sessions. The pattern echoes Coinpaper's earlier reporting on about $746 million leaving Bitcoin ETFs over a 48-hour period.
