Asian wheat importers have bought at least 500,000 tons from Argentina and Australia to replace delayed Black Sea cargoes. Australian Premium White wheat has traded around $315$330 per ton and Argentine wheat around $310$315 per ton, well above the $260 to $280 per ton seen for Black Sea cargoes. Benchmark Chicago wheat futures have risen about 35% since late June, while cash prices have climbed across competing exporters. Asian processors have booked about 2.0 million to 2.5 million tons of Black Sea wheat for July-September shipment, covering roughly 30% to 50% of import demand.

Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson said Middle East tensions have disrupted oil production and transport, sending jet fuel prices higher and lifting airfares. The European benchmark jet fuel price has risen from around $800 a tonne to about $1,450 after peaking at more than $1,800 in April. Virgin Atlantic has responded by adding fuel surcharges of £50 for economy, £180 for premium and £360 for business class.

Enbridge shares slide about 14% from 12-month high as dividend yield rises to 5.6%
Enbridge shares are trading near C$69, down from a 12-month high above C$80, lifting the dividend yield to 5.6%. The company has already sanctioned C$9 billion in growth projects in 2026 and is advancing a C$41 billion secured capital program.
