Arm CEO Rene Haas says confidence is rising in meeting $2 billion AGI CPU demand target
AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Arm's CEO said supply confidence for its new in-house data center "AGI CPU" has strengthened, improving the likelihood that previously disclosed $2B demand can convert into revenue. This matters because investor skepticism has centered on constrained foundry capacity during the AI boom and Arm's shift from licensing to selling a complete chip. The comments may support near-term sentiment toward Arm's AI monetization narrative.

Arm CEO Rene Haas said he is increasingly confident the company can secure enough supply to meet customer demand of $2 billion for its AI chip. The company first disclosed that demand figure on its May earnings call, double the previously outlined $1 billion, but kept its official $1 billion revenue outlook at the time and the stock fell 10%. On July’s earnings call, management said its supply confidence had improved, and the shares rose more than 7% in the following session.
