Greenland Mines reports 31% increase in indicated palladium-equivalent resource at Skaergaard project

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Greenland Mines reported a 31% increase in indicated palladium-equivalent resources at its Skaergaard project, reinforcing the narrative of tightening Western palladium supply chains amid geopolitical risk tied to Russian dominance. With fieldwork underway (drilling, metallurgical sampling, engineering and environmental baselines), the project's de-risking progress can support near-term sentiment in palladium-linked exposures given autos account for most demand.

Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) said its Skaergaard project in southeast Greenland posted a 31% increase in indicated palladium-equivalent resources, which it described as one of the largest undeveloped palladium, gold and platinum deposits in the western world. The company said the 2026 field season is underway, with drilling, metallurgical bulk sampling and engineering studies in progress. The update comes as palladium demand is heavily tied to automotive catalytic converters, accounting for roughly 80% to 85% of global demand, while Russian supply is seen as a geopolitical risk.
