Flight Centre to redeploy $61.7 million from Pedal Group exit as Middle East tensions hit profits

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
Flight Centre reported solid operating momentum with EBITDA up 24.4% and transaction volume up 4.7%, but noted Middle East conflict reduced Q4 pre-tax profit by about A$60m and UAE volumes fell 15%. The sale of its Pedal Group stake and redeployment of A$61.7m signals a tighter focus on core travel exposure and reduced non-travel volatility. Geopolitical risk remains a key swing factor for travel demand.
