SoftBank lifts Arm-backed margin loan by $5 billion to $25 billion to fund AI push

AI مارکیٹ کا خلاصہ
SoftBank increased its Arm-backed margin loan to $25B to finance expanding AI investments, including a large OpenAI commitment. The upsizing underscores strong lender appetite linked to Arm's rally, but also raises focus on leverage, collateral sensitivity, and the uncertain payoff timeline for large-scale AI capex. Near-term, the news can heighten volatility in Arm-linked exposures as funding and margin dynamics come into view.
