Bitcoin Non-Empty Wallets Reach 58.45M as Exchange Reserves Fall to Lowest Since December 2017
Bitcoin's network reached an all-time high of 58.45 million non-empty wallets, while BTC reserves on known exchange wallets dropped to 1.17 million coins, the lowest level since December 2017, Santiment data show. Over the past six months, addresses with a balance rose by 1.69 million, a 3% increase reflecting growing adoption and a shift toward cold storage. The move toward self-custody comes as U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reportedly recorded a $1.45 billion single-day inflow in late February, even as retail investor capital flows declined by $5 billion over the last month.
