BlackRock to Launch iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF on Nasdaq Thursday

BlackRock's iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHB) will begin trading on Nasdaq on Thursday, CoinDesk reports. The fund will hold spot Ethereum and allocate a portion of its assets to on-chain staking, offering investors exposure to ETH prices and potential staking rewards. ETHB is BlackRock's third crypto ETF and its first to integrate staking, following the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) and iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which manage over $55 billion and roughly $6.5 billion in assets respectively. BlackRock said the staking feature addresses investor demand for income generation alongside ETH exposure while maintaining standard ETF characteristics including custody, trading and portfolio allocation.
