European Automakers Fall Up to 7% as Trump Threatens 25% Tariffs by June

European automakers fell in early Monday trading after U.S. President Donald Trump on Jan. 19 threatened to impose 10% tariffs on European goods starting in February, rising to 25% by June, BlockBeats reports. Mercedes-Benz Group dropped as much as 6.7%, BMW Group fell 7%, and Volkswagen Group declined 5.4%.
