Neutron aims to bring Smart Contracts into Cosmos-family blockchains using CosmWasm, integrated with networks utilizing the IBC protocol. The network's security is fortified by the validator set of the Cosmos Hub through Interchain Security.

Built on the Cosmos SDK framework, Neutron emphasizes modularity and capabilities-based security, simplifying the construction of secure blockchain applications.

Security Measures

Neutron employs Interchain Security, a feature that taps into the Cosmos Hub's validator set, removing the need for a separate set for Neutron itself.

Special Features

Through customizable Interchain Queries (ICQs) and Interchain Accounts (ICAs), Neutron enables secure data retrieval from remote zones and transaction execution on foreign zones.

Revenue Model

Transaction fees, payable in NTRN or ATOM tokens, constitute Neutron's main revenue source. A percentage is sent to the Cosmos Hub, while the remainder is either burnt or sent to the Reserve.

Three contracts manage Neutron's financials: The Reserve, the Distribution Contract, and the Neutron DAO core module.
