Aave Chan Initiative Founder Ends Frontier Staking Program, Moves Staked ETH to Aave DAO to Reduce Risk

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Marc Zeller, founder of the Aave Chan Initiative (ACI), said on Aave's governance forum that ACI is shutting down the Frontier staking service program effective immediately. Zeller cited concerns that rsETH could trigger a wETH liquidity shortfall and lead to bad debt on Aave V3 Core. All ETH staked via Frontier will be fully withdrawn and transferred to the Aave DAO for management, with the funds available if needed to safeguard wETH depositors. ACI also said it will waive any revenue and fees tied to the service up to the withdrawal date.
