Aave Warns of Up to $230M Exposure From Kelp DAO Bridge Flaw

Aave said a vulnerability in the Kelp DAO bridge could leave the protocol facing losses under two scenarios, depending on how any deficit is allocated. If the shortfall is spread across all rsETH holders, potential losses are estimated at about $123 million. If the impact is contained to Layer 2, losses could rise to as much as $230 million. The issue has led to roughly $190 million in uncollateralized loans, with the final hit hinging on Kelp DAO's approach to covering the gap.
