Binance Australia Restores Bank Transfers and PayID After Two-Year Halt

Binance Australia resumed fiat on-ramp and off-ramp services via bank transfers and PayID over the past week, nearly two years after local banks cut access, Cointelegraph reports on Jan. 19. The exchange suspended these deposit and withdrawal options in 2023, leaving only bank cards and crypto-only routes. Matt Poblocki, Binance's Australia and New Zealand lead, said fiat access links traditional finance and digital assets, adding that regulatory clarity and fiat product expansion will be priorities in 2026.
