Bitcoin Rises to $67,500 as Altcoins Rally; $307M in Short Positions Liquidated

Bitcoin rebounded to $67,500 during Wednesday's U.S. morning session, rising more than 5% over the past 24 hours as a broad crypto rally unfolded after weeks of extreme negative sentiment, CoinGlass data show. Ethereum (ETH) jumped 10% to reclaim $2,000, while Solana (SOL), DOGE, ADA and Chainlink (LINK) each advanced more than 10%, outpacing Bitcoin and the CoinDesk 20 Index. Over the past 24 hours, more than $307 million in leveraged short positions were liquidated as prices rose. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $257.7 million of inflows on Tuesday, the largest daily total since Feb. 6, while crypto-related equities also gained, with Circle (CRCL) up 20% and miners including Bitfarms (BITF), Bitdeer (BTDR) and MARA Holdings (MARA) leading advances.
