RT Ous: Court orders KuCoin operator Peken Global to block U.S. users without CFTC registration, pay $500,000

RT Ous: A court has ordered Peken Global, the operator of crypto exchange KuCoin, to bar U.S. traders unless it registers with the CFTC, and to pay a $500,000 penalty. The company previously entered a criminal plea in January 2025 that included a $112.9 million fine and $184.5 million in forfeiture. The DOJ has alleged more than $5 billion in suspicious flows.
