EtherFi proposes 5,000 ETH contribution to address rsETH shortfall after exploit

EtherFi said it is coordinating with Aave and other counterparties to help close the rsETH shortfall stemming from this week's exploit. The EtherFi Foundation plans to propose contributing 5,000 ETH to a dedicated relief vehicle designed to protect users and prevent bad debt from spreading across DeFi. The foundation said resolving the issue will require a coordinated, ecosystem-wide response, with additional details to follow.
