Iran Designates Major U.S. Tech Firms Including Google and Microsoft as Lawful Targets

Iran has formally classified the infrastructure of leading American technology companies as legitimate targets, naming Microsoft, Palantir, Google, Oracle, Nvidia and IBM in its declaration, CNN reported. The move extends the confrontation from conventional military assets to critical global digital and cloud infrastructure. CNN reported that any cyberattack or physical strike on these firms' data centers could cause severe disruption to interconnected financial, military and civilian systems worldwide if it occurred.
