Polymarket Launches 5-Minute Crypto Prediction Markets Using Chainlink Oracle Data

Polymarket launched 5-minute crypto prediction markets allowing traders to bet on whether BTC and hundreds of other crypto pairs will rise or fall within each five-minute interval, with instant settlement powered by Chainlink's decentralized oracle, the project said. The new products expand on Polymarket's existing 15-minute markets that went live last October and are resolved using Chainlink's BTC/USD data stream, removing the need for a centralized price feed. One-minute prediction markets and a POLY token are also reportedly in the pipeline, while Polymarket states it has grown into the world's largest prediction market after acquiring CFTC-licensed exchange QCEX for $112 million and partnering for integrated market data.
