Bhutan reportedly offloads about 70% of Bitcoin holdings over past 18 months

Bhutan has sold roughly 70% of its Bitcoin holdings over the last 18 months, according to Wu Blockchain. The country held about 13,000 BTC in October 2024, but its balance has since fallen to under 4,000 BTC. Over the past year, it has transferred out BTC valued at approximately $215.7 million.
