Tether Invests in Axiym to Integrate USD₮ Into Regulated Payment Networks Across 140 Countries

Stablecoin issuer Tether has made a strategic investment in financial technology company Axiym to advance the use of USD₮ in global payments, according to an official announcement. Axiym operates a globally distributed funds and settlement infrastructure supporting payment and settlement activities in 140 countries and 70 currencies. The partnership is designed to embed USD₮ directly into regulated payment ecosystems to streamline cross-border payment processes and improve capital efficiency. Axiym's platform offers a postpayment settlement model called "Pay Now, Settle Later" (PNSL), allowing payment companies to access USD₮ within their existing funds operations without external procurement or separate settlement channels.
