Bitdeer’s Tydal site to be rebuilt into a 180 MW AI data center, target December 2026

Bitdeer said its Norway unit has signed a build contract with Data Center Installations AS to convert the Tydal facility into a 180 MW AI co-location data center, with completion targeted for December 2026. The project is designed around Nvidia’s Vera Rubin GPU architecture and will use 100% carbon-free hydro power, immersion cooling, and heat reuse for nearby food production.
