FSC: South Korea crypto outflows totaled $60B in H2 2025 as activity cooled

South Korea saw roughly $60 billion in crypto flow to overseas exchanges and private wallets in the second half of 2025, even as domestic participation continued to rise. Exchange accounts reached 11.1 million by year-end and deposits grew to 8.1 trillion won, but the country's 18 registered exchanges reported sharply lower profits and trading volumes during the period.
