South Korea Passes 2027 Tokenized Securities Law, Paving Way for Regulated STO Market

On Thursday, South Korea's National Assembly approved amendments to the Capital Markets Act and Electronic Securities Act to legalize the issuance and trading of tokenized securities, with the laws set to take effect in January 2027.
