Ethereum Mainnet Transfer Fee Falls to $0.0017, 3-5x Lower Than Major L2 Networks

Ethereum mainnet transfer fees fell to $0.0017, EmberCN testing showed on Dec. 5. Major Layer 2 networks including Base, Arbitrum and Optimism charged between $0.0055 and $0.0079 per transfer, 3-5 times higher than mainnet. Ethereum mainnet gas fees stood at 0.031 gwei at the time of reporting.
