Aave founder denies $15M AAVE buy to sway DAO vote; 55% voted nay

Aave Labs founder and CEO Stani Kulechov denied buying $15 million of AAVE to influence a governance vote that failed. He said the tokens were not used to vote and pledged clearer alignment between Aave Labs products and AAVE holders. The community ballot on bringing brand assets under the DAO saw over 55% "nay" and 41% abstentions.
