Flow validators urged to pause transactions after $3.9 million exploit rollback controversy

Bridge protocol founder Alex Smirnov has called on validators of the Flow layer 1 blockchain to halt transaction processing after the Flow Foundation rolled the chain back to respond to a $3.9 million exploit on Dec. 27. The rollback, which left the network stuck at block height 137,385,824 and pushed FLOW's price down 42%, has drawn criticism over its impact on decentralization, user balances and cross-chain bridges.
