Bitcoin has seen net BTC deposits into Binance for 10 straight days, a pattern often associated with potential sell-side intent. Over that span, Binance netflow rose from 378 BTC on May 16th to 1,190 BTC today, with a single-day peak above 3,600 BTC on May 18th. Binance's Bitcoin exchange reserve also climbed from 616,000 BTC on April 24th to 632,000 BTC, while BTC traded around $77,400 at the time of writing.

CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju said in an X post that indicators tied to a Bitcoin bull run have not fully turned on yet, with the Bull Score Index still sitting in the neutral range. The index aggregates 10 on-chain metrics and turns bullish only when the reading moves above 60. Bitcoin was trading around $77,300 at the time of writing, down more than 4% over the past week.

XRP fell by more than 8% over the past week even as large holders increased their positions. Over the same period, whales added over 71 million XRP—valued at around $97.8 million—while an analyst also pointed to a tight Bollinger Bands squeeze that may precede a sharp volatility expansion.

Bitcoin rebounded toward $78,000 but failed to hold the move as the Coinbase Premium Index stayed in negative territory. The metric, which compares BTC prices on Coinbase versus Binance, suggests comparatively stronger selling from U.S.-leaning Coinbase flows, with the index recently around -0.098. After the pullback, BTC was back near $77,300.

USDC deposits to centralized exchanges climbed to $350 million following Bitcoin's pullback below $77,000, a move some interpret as potential dip-buying activity. The inflow spike coincided with BTC sliding to around $76,800, while stablecoin market capitalization was reported at $323.1 billion.

Ethereum has printed a Tom Demark (TD) Sequential sell signal on the 1-week chart, the same type of setup that previously preceded a 63% decline. Analyst Ali Martinez says the completed nine-candle setup suggests a potential corrective phase, while ETH is trading around $2,220 this week.

Bitcoin dropped below $80,000 after failing to hold recovery moves above $82,000 seen on Sunday and Monday, and the selloff accelerated on Wednesday with a brief dip under $79,000. The price later hovered around $79,600, roughly 3.3% below the Sunday high. The pullback coincided with the Bitcoin Coinbase Premium Gap moving into negative territory, pointing to relatively heavier selling pressure on Coinbase.

CryptoQuant's Bitcoin Bull-Bear Market Cycle Indicator has turned green for the first time since March 2023, shifting into what it labels an "Early Bull" phase. The move follows the indicator's drop into an "Extreme Bear" reading after the early-February sell-off and its subsequent recovery through March, April, and May. Bitcoin was trading around $80,700 at the time of writing, down 0.5% over the past 24 hours.

Bitcoin’s on-chain signals have improved, with the Realized Profit/Loss Ratio moving out of the "panic zone" as highlighted by CryptoQuant author Axel Adler Jr. The analyst also noted Realized Cap has turned upward and its 30-day change is slightly positive, indicating modest net inflows over the past month. BTC price action has remained rangebound, hovering near $81,000.
