Hindustan Zinc reported June-quarter net profit of ₹5,469 crore, up 144% year on year, while EBITDA doubled to ₹8,050 crore. EBITDA margin rose to 58.56%, more than 7 percentage points higher than a year earlier, and zinc cost of production fell to $851 per tonne, a quarterly low. Revenue climbed 77% to ₹13,747 crore.
