Ethereum Foundation Co-Executive Director Tomasz Stańczak to Leave Role in February 2026 Transition

Tomasz Stańczak will step down as co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation at the end of February 2026 after a one-year term focused on operational reforms and governance changes. Leadership responsibilities will shift to Bastian Aue and Hsiao-Wei Wang as Stańczak returns to protocol development and AI-related work around Ethereum. The foundation is also preparing a combined LEAN Ethereum and core development roadmap for 2026 with an emphasis on post-quantum security and rollup coordination.
