Bitcoin Tests $70,000 Support After Wallet Linked to Jane Street Transfers $19 Million in BTC
A wallet linked to Jane Street transferred 270 BTC worth approximately $19 million to crypto exchanges as Bitcoin slipped into the $68,000–$70,000 range, Lookonchain and Arkham Analytics data show. On-chain records show transfers of 275 BTC ($19.55 million) and 94.76 BTC ($6.74 million) in large tranches, with repeated deposits over several days to LMAX Digital and Bullish.com, coinciding with price rejection near $74,000–$75,000 and around the 50-day simple moving average. Analysts including Ted Pillows and Ali Charts have identified $70,000 as key support, with Ali noting dense UTXO Realized Price Distribution below $70,685 and lighter resistance up to $84,569, while CoinGlass data shows heavy sell orders near $71,000–$72,000 and larger short liquidations ($2.5 billion) than longs ($507 million) over 24 hours. Bitcoin remains in a higher-low uptrend near $68,661, but analysts note that holding the $70,000 level and breaking above the 50-day SMA at $75,320, followed by the 200-day SMA at $95,904, are critical thresholds, while a close below recent levels could open a path toward $65,000–$60,000.
