The exchange had reported 250 million worldwide registrations on Jan. 2, 2025, indicating it added 50 million new registered users over roughly the past 12 months.

Flow's team decided to roll back the blockchain on December 28 and said it is operating within a forced synchronization window with key ecosystem partners, including bridges as well as centralized and decentralized exchanges, deBridge co-founder Alex Smirnov said in a post on X cited by BlockBeats. deBridge, one of Flow's primary bridge providers, reported it received no communication or coordination from the Flow team and warned of significant risk; Smirnov urged all Flow validators to stop validating transactions on the rolled-back chain until compensation plans, partner coordination and security team involvement are clarified. Smirnov said a hasty rollback could cause economic losses that exceed the impact of the original attack and introduce systemic issues affecting bridges, custodians, users and counterparties that acted honestly during the affected window; RPC responses currently indicate Flow's state has been rolled back but the network is not yet accepting new transactions.

The address holds a 25x leveraged long on 8,100 ETH with an entry price of $2,972.03 and liquidation at $2,874.14. The same address opened a 10x leveraged long on HYPE worth $230,000 on Dec. 27, currently showing a $1,000 unrealized loss.

A trader identified as a "BTC OG insider whale" holds $745.72M in long positions across BTC, ETH and SOL with a combined unrealized loss of $52.26M as of Dec. 27, HyperInsight data cited by BlockBeats show. The positions include a $595.42M ETH long opened at $3,147.39 (unrealized loss: $44.57M), an $87.42M BTC long opened at $91,506.7 (loss: $4.08M), and a $62.88M SOL long opened at $130.19 (loss: $3.72M). The trader has paid $3.1369M in funding fees on these positions.

Address 0x50b…c9f20 opened a long position of 27,304 ETH (worth $80.04 million) at an entry price of $2,931.9 on December 26 and a short position of 250.36 BTC (worth $21.91 million) at $87,334.2 nine hours ago on December 27, on-chain analyst Ai 姨 (@ai_9684xtpa) said. The ETH long shows an unrealized loss of $5,543, while the BTC short shows an unrealized loss of $46,000. The account has recorded a cumulative profit of $3.638 million since July, the analyst added.
