UN’s Digital Treasury Hub receives Circle grant to expand stablecoin-based refugee aid

At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Circle announced a grant to the United Nations’ Digital Hub of Treasury Solutions to enhance digital financial infrastructure for humanitarian payments. The initiative builds on a 2022 pilot with USDC for displaced Ukrainians and aims to make every donor dollar more efficient amid $38 billion in yearly aid still routed through legacy systems.
