China Q3 GDP Grows 4.5 Percent, Just Above 4.4 Percent Forecast

The Chinese economy expanded 4.5% in the third quarter, just above the 4.4% economists expected. Since 2023, growth has mostly stayed between 4.5% and 5.5%, after a 6.8% single quarter Covid contraction in 2020 and an 18.9% rebound a year later.
