Toss Bank signs Solana Foundation MoU to pilot stablecoin-based remittances
South Korea’s internet-only bank Toss Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to build and test cross-border remittance infrastructure on Solana. The agreement is intended to serve as a starting point for the country’s third-largest internet bank to gradually integrate blockchain-based digital financial infrastructure across its services. Toss Bank plans to roll out the work in phases, beginning with overseas remittances before expanding into payments, digital assets and tokenized real-world assets.

ICE and OKX form 50-50 broker-dealer venture aimed at U.S. tokenized equities
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the New York Stock Exchange’s parent, and crypto platform OKX announced a 50-50 joint venture to link OKX’s 120 million global users with U.S.-regulated futures markets and tokenized equities. The companies said Monday the venture is intended to provide infrastructure for tokenized and digitally native financial products. The planned entity is expected to seek U.S. broker-dealer and futures commission merchant registration, subject to regulatory approvals.

Taiko Urges Users to Exit All Bridges After Exploit, Halts Block Production
Taiko said users should withdraw funds from every bridge deployed on its network after confirming its chain state verification mechanism was compromised. The incident followed a reported exploit of Taiko’s ERC20 Vault on Ethereum (ETH), with Blockaid estimating losses had exceeded $1 million. Taiko has temporarily stopped block production and asked centralized exchanges to suspend TAIKO deposits.
