Trend Research Adds 46,379 ETH via Leveraged Borrowing, Total Holdings Reach 580,000 ETH

Trend Research increased its Ethereum holdings by 46,379 ETH on Dec. 24 using leverage, with the new purchase worth about $137 million, on-chain analyst Ember and BlockBeats report. The secondary investment firm under Li Hua Yi has accumulated roughly 580,000 ETH valued at about $1.72 billion since early November, with an average entry price near $3,208 and an estimated unrealized loss of around $141 million. Trend Research financed these positions by borrowing $887 million USDT from Aave at an approximate leverage ratio of 2x.
