Two Democratic US senators are asking SEC Chair Paul Atkins to explain enforcement director Margaret Ryan's resignation in March and the agency's handling of select crypto-related matters. Senator Richard Blumenthal also pressed the SEC on its decision to drop a fraud case against Tron founder Justin Sun 11 days before Ryan stepped down, while Senator Elizabeth Warren raised concerns that Ryan may have faced resistance on cases tied to President Donald Trump's circle.

Bitcoin and ether exchange-traded funds logged a combined $503 million in weekly net outflows during the last full trading week of March. Bitcoin spot ETFs lost $296.18 million and ether ETFs shed $206.58 million, while Solana ETFs saw $4.2 million leave and XRP ETFs took in $2.66 million. The period included a brief early-week bounce, but withdrawals intensified into Friday.

Solana (SOL) has rebounded after dipping below $80 and is trading around $82, with traders focusing on whether it can reclaim the $84–$85 zone to confirm a stronger reversal. Analysts cited upside levels near $88 and $92 if buyers stay in control, while warning that rejection could bring a retest around $82 and keep broader downside risks toward $70–$50 in view.

Digital asset investment products logged $414 million in weekly outflows, snapping a five-week run of inflows and pulling total AUM down to $129 billion. The U.S. accounted for $445 million of withdrawals, while Germany and Canada saw $21.2 million and $15.9 million of inflows, respectively. Solana traded at $84.22 at press time after slipping below $120 resistance, with $74 flagged as key support.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $296.18 million in net outflows for the week ending March 27, marking the first weekly net withdrawal since mid-February. The pullback came as Bitcoin briefly dipped to $65,000 last week before moving back above $67,000, while some market attention shifted toward Bitcoin Layer-2 projects such as Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), which says its presale has raised more than $32.2 million.

PIPPIN, a Solana-based memecoin, fell 10.52% on March 29 to $0.0512 while 24-hour volume dropped 18% to $40.20 million. Whale holdings declined 25% over the past day, and positioning data highlighted $0.0467 and $0.0605 as key interest levels with $2.57 million in longs versus $4.69 million in shorts built over the past week.

Solana has overtaken Ethereum in all-time unique developers, reaching 10,864—nearly 20% more than ETH—alongside rising on-chain engagement. Over the past 60 days, USD1 supply on Solana increased from $160 million to $850 million while the network saw $200-$300 million in daily stablecoin volume, and analysts say SOL/ETH holding near 0.04 could support a push back toward 0.05 in Q2.

Coinglass data shows Solana's total futures open interest across exchanges at $5.44 billion (about 65.12 million SOL), returning to levels last seen around April 2025. The pullback follows a peak near $15 billion to $16 billion in mid-September 2025, and SOL was trading at $83.51, down 2.7% over the past 24 hours at the time of writing.

Solana traded at $83.11 on March 28, 2026, after falling from a peak near $140 in November 2025, while its charts showed the token holding the $80 area for three straight weeks. On-chain metrics indicate larger holders accumulated more than 2.3 million SOL from March 25–27 and about 1.1 million SOL left exchanges over the past week. Over the same period, Solana's RWA value locked reached $1.83 billion, up from $1.5 billion two weeks earlier.

On March 27, Bitcoin spot ETFs saw net outflows of $225.5 million, while Ethereum ETFs posted $48.5 million in redemptions and Solana ETF products recorded $7.8 million in net outflows. Bitcoin network participation also cooled, with active addresses down more than 30% since August 2025. The data points to softer institutional risk appetite alongside weakening on-chain engagement.
